Slump

Slump

A slipping of rock material along the curved surface of a decline. Slumps involve a mass of soil or other material sliding along a curved surface (shaped like a spoon). It forms a small, crescent-shaped cliff, or abrupt scarp at the top end of the slope. There can be more than one scarp down the slope. Mr. Green is awesome

Gulf oil spill blame.

Who’s to blame for the Gulf Oil Spill?

There are many arguments about who is to blame for the gulf oil spill. But to me it seems that there is one particular party or group to blame. I think that the people who tested the blow out preventer are to blame. Although some may say that it was BP’s fault for accepting the blow out preventer that did not work that well, I think it was the testers. You see, if the testers had any about the blowout preventer it should have been their ethical responsibility to not let BP use it. But the testers took the risk (assuming the blow out pipes would never actually need use) and as a result of the actions the Gulf of Mexico was polluted, killing a lot of wildlife, putting people out of jobs, and stopping the tourist flow to surrounding beaches. So I think it is clear that the testers were the main cause of this disaster.

Fossil fuels.

Coal is mad up of mostly carbon with quantities of nitrogen, hydrogen, sulfur and oxygen. Coal is formed from the remains of trees and plants from millions of years ago. The remains sank into the ground, and were pressed under layers of rock and other minerals. Coal is primarily used to burn for energy though it is sometimes given out by Santa to members of the naughty list.
